Oneida Healthcare is a 101-bed acute care hospital and a 160-bed skilled nursing facility (ECF) licensed by the State of New York and operated by Oneida Health Systems, Inc., a New York not-for-profit corporation. Both facilities are JCAHO accredited. Oneida Healthcare Center serves an area comprised of approximately 24 communities in Madison and western Oneida counties with a population of about 80,000 from its main campus on Genesee Street (NYS Rt. 5) in the city of Oneida. In addition, Oneida Healthcare operates primary health centers in the villages of Canastota, Chittenango and Camden; a maternal/child clinic at the Northside Health Center in Oneida, three outreach laboratory draw stations in Oneida and Camden, and a rehabilitation & wellness center in Oneida.

Community General Hospital opened its doors in 1963 and is a nationally recognized health care facility that offers comprehensive services including medical and surgical care, emergency services, intensive care, acute rehabilitation, and psychiatric care.  The 306-bed hospital is recognized for its premier orthopedic services, prostate surgery, and maternity services.  In 2011, Upstate Medical University acquired CGH and it was renamed Upstate University Hospital Community Campus.
