IHA-AHP RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION STRATEGIES FOR HEALTHCARE LEADERSHIP SERIES


Program Overview

IHA WIO worked closely with hospitals and healthcare systems over the course of several years to assist with workforce and staffing issues by providing a series of webinars. Through our relationships, we found that there was a dire need to re-think both recruitment and retention. With challenges in the healthcare workforce accumulating, IHA WIO wanted to bring together stakeholders to talk about creative solutions to the problems that healthcare is facing.

 

Collaborative Partnership Supported by Grant Funding

To present these webinars, IHA partnered with Advocates for Human Potential (AHP), a nationally recognized group of consultants that specialize in improving health and human service systems of care to help organizations and individuals reach their full potential. We were able to fund this opportunity by a grant given to us by the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

 

Impact & Goals

This webinar series was designed to bring hospital and health system leaders together to learn about sustainable long-term solutions that not only help hospitals, but also the employees and communities that they support. It provided a space for collaboration between hospital leaders, to learn from experts and from each other. All of the webinars and their sparked discussions were recorded and posted below for continual viewing and education.
