To ensure our policymakers understand the impact of proposed legislation on hospitals’ ability to provide high quality care, the Upstate Health Advocacy Project Political Action Committee (UHAP PAC) serves to provide a regional voice and focused emphasis for Upstate health care to our legislators.

UHAP PAC unites healthcare leaders in Upstate NY around a common vision for the future. Your support of the UHAP PAC ignites the lasting change that hospitals and health systems need to better serve Upstate communities. A shared vision means strength in numbers, helping to maximize Upstate NY hospitals’ impact and influence on issues of critical importance. Together, we play a key role in electing the leaders who understand the important role Upstate hospitals play and share our vision for a safe, more efficient and affordable health care system.
Support of the UHAP PAC ensures the success of our efforts on behalf of Upstate health care providers and increases our impact by:
- Supporting legislative candidates that demonstrate a commitment to hospitals in Upstate;
- Advancing the legislative priorities of Upstate hospitals among NY lawmakers;
- Providing Upstate hospitals with a united voice in policy discussions through an organized, collaborative process;
- Promoting responsible government by educating policymakers and holding them accountable for their positions on important health care issues.
